This big gentle lad loves to be with his siblings and the rest of the small herd he has grown up with but he loves people too. He has been easy to handle since birth and takes all new challenges in his stride. He went to his first competition at 4 weeks of age and marched forward positively towards his class where he strode round after his Mum looking like a seasoned professional. He won the best foal in his class and was greatly admired by the judge. He showed a considerable amount of the type of competition pony attitude he was bred to have, ie ability with temperament. He has powerful movement and has jumped out of his field several times! Both his parents move well and jump with confidence and he seems to have inheirited these traits too. This charming filly is quite shy until she knows you and then shows a steely, determined character with loads of self confidence. She mixes well with the herd but is independent enough to spend time away from the main group too. Her dam, Connie, was a good, reliable PC event mare until a genuine injury stopped her from competing. Connie was bred in Ireland and was competed regularly by a teenage girl until her injury 2 years ago. She qualified for the BSPS summer championships 2006 working hunter pony, jumping a clear round.
