New Farm is run by Jo Sholl-Evans, a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 20 years experience of treating both people and animals. Horses can be sent to the farm for short term or long term rehabilitation from a variety of disorders such as:

back and neck pain

post orthopaedic surgery

tendon/ligament injuries and other soft tissue trauma

neurological problems
Most horses are seen as outpatients in their own yards and appointments can be made by calling 07889 203903. The Veterinary Surgeons Act means it is illegal for non-veterinary practitioners to assess and treat any animal without the agreement of the Veterinary Surgeon, so your vet must give his permission prior to the initial visit. Regular feedback is provided to all referring Veterinary Surgeons and any other professionals involved in the care of the animal (farriers, foot trimmers, trainers, riders etc).
